Steven Harris,
VP of Market Development | Office of the CEO, SCTE, a subsidiary of CableLabs ®

 Bio:

Steve is an international technology speaker, educator, author, and thought
leader who serves as the VP of Global Market Development | Office of the CEO
for SCTE, a subsidiary of CableLabs ® . In this role, he is responsible for overseeing
the architecture and evolution of education programs, professional credentialing,
and customized career learning journeys, as well as international business
development and partnerships for SCTE.
With over 30 years of experience in technology, telecommunications, and adult
learning he has led the development of the SCTE education library to drive
operational results for his business partners. As a practitioner, Steve has earned
numerous certification credentials and instructed much of this educational library
internationally. He is also the Fiber Source for the Broadband Library magazine,
a member of the Military of NATE, as well as a Cisco, CompTIA, and CWNP
Instructor. He has been honored with the Distinguished Cable Pioneer Award for
the year 2023.
